Omaha man sentenced for involvement in methamphetamine conspiracy

Anthony Stephens, 38, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on August 23, 2024, in federal court for his involvement in a methamphetamine conspiracy. Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter Jr. sentenced Stephens to 188 months’ imprisonment. Additionally, Stephens agreed to the forfeiture of $10,500. There is no parole in the federal system. After his release from prison, he will begin a 10-year term of supervised release.

Gretna man sentenced for drug distribution conspiracy and firearm possession

Felix Mackey, a resident of Gretna, Louisiana, was sentenced on September 25, 2024, by United States District Judge Jane Triche Milazzo. Mackey had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine hydrochloride, and cocaine base. This is in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 841(a)(1) and 846. New Orleans men sentenced for firearms offenses

Two New Orleans men have been sentenced for firearms offenses. Alphonse Bazile, 78, and Rayshaud Green, 35, both of New Orleans, received their sentences on September 18, 2024. U.S. District Judge Lance M. Africk sentenced each to 180 months of incarceration, three years of supervised release, and a mandatory $100 special assessment fee. This follows their guilty pleas to the counts in the superseding indictment against them.

Pearl River man sentenced to nine years for possession of child pornography

Farrell also allegedly attempted to obstruct investigations into his scheme by offering gifts to public officials.
