The Institute for Women's Health (IWH) has extended its congratulations to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. following his confirmation as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). The organization expressed optimism about his leadership during a pivotal time for global health.

Valerie Huber, President and CEO of IWH, highlighted Kennedy's history of advocating for public health improvements, accountability, and transparency. She stated that he is well-suited to prioritize women's authentic health in global health policy without the interference of divisive political agendas.

The U.S.'s rejoining of the Geneva Consensus Declaration (GCD) was noted as a reaffirmation by HHS of its commitment to enhancing women's health, supporting families, affirming that abortion is not an international human right, and maintaining the sovereign rights of nations against ideological colonialism. IWH has pledged its support to work with Secretary Kennedy and his team to advance the GCD's objectives and promote genuine health solutions for women and girls globally.

The Institute for Women's Health describes itself as a unique organization dedicated to promoting optimal health and wellbeing for women at all stages of life. Based in Washington, D.C., it addresses pressing women's health issues through honest dialogue, targeted actions, and empowered partnerships. IWH collaborates with various entities including governments, policymakers, think tanks, academics, healthcare professionals, NGOs, faith-based groups, corporations, and others who share their mission to help women thrive worldwide.
