U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. has sentenced Rashad Marshall, a 33-year-old resident of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to 100 months in prison for selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer. The sentencing took place on Monday.

Marshall had pleaded guilty in July to charges of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and distribution of methamphetamine. He admitted his involvement with Joshua E. Forbes and two others in selling the drug. The Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force conducted purchases from the group on six occasions between June and August 2023.

Previously, in May, Judge Limbaugh sentenced Forbes to 12 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and three counts of distribution.

The investigation was carried out by the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Poplar Bluff Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Julie Hunter is handling the prosecution.
