Seattle home prices rose in October 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2020 in Seattle rose by $36,000 while total sales increased by 65.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2020, there were 501 homes sold, with a median sale price of $802,000 - a 4.7% increase over the $766,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 303 homes sold in Seattle in October 2019.

The median sales tax in Seattle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,956, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for October 2020.
