Renton home prices fall in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Renton fell by $5,500 while total sales increased by 9.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 370 homes sold, with a median sale price of $485,000 - a 1.1% decrease over the $490,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 338 homes sold in Renton in 2018.

The median sales tax in Renton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,150, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for 2019.
