Auburn home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Auburn rose by $8,500 while total sales decreased by 29.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 150 homes sold, with a median sale price of $393,500 - a 2.2% increase over the $385,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 213 homes sold in Auburn in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Auburn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,743, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
