A San Antonio used car dealership manager, Felipe Alcibar, has been sentenced to six months in prison and ordered to pay more than $260,000 in restitution for tampering with odometers.

The case was announced by Acting U.S. Attorney Margaret Leachman for the Western District of Texas. The investigation was carried out by the Department of Transportation Office of Odometer Fraud, and the case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Justin Chung.
