Census Bureau: 77.9% of people in the state of Washington were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 7,617,364 citizens living in Washington in 2021, 77.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 5,936,904 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 2,971,080 were male, constituting 50%, and 2,965,824 were female, making up 50%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Washington during 2021 was higher than the national average, which stands at 77.5%.
