Carnation home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Carnation fell by $70,000 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $446,500 - a 13.6% decrease over the $516,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Carnation in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Carnation for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,504, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
