America First Legal (AFL) has initiated an investigation into what it describes as the Biden-Harris Administration's coverup of violence by Islamic supremacists against religious minorities in Africa and the Middle East. This move follows allegations that the administration, like its predecessor under President Obama, has downplayed or ignored sectarian motivations behind such violence.

The AFL has expressed concerns over the misattribution of jihadist violence in Nigeria to factors like "climate change," farmer-herder conflicts, and ethnic divides by the current U.S. Department of State. In response, AFL has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the Department of State. The request seeks records related to recent attacks on various religious minorities by Islamic supremacist or jihadist groups across several countries including Nigeria, Egypt, and Iraq.

Will Scolinos, counsel for America First Legal, stated: “America First Legal will continue to investigate the terror campaigns around the globe that carry out violence based on nothing more than religion." He emphasized the importance of understanding those behind these attacks to inform U.S. responses, especially in light of what he referred to as open border policies allowing entry into the United States.

The AFL remains committed to shedding light on these issues and holding accountable those responsible for acts of violence against Christians and other religious minorities.
