American Compass is offering a summer internship program at its Washington, D.C. office, aimed at individuals interested in engaging with research, policy, coalition building, and communications. The organization seeks candidates who are "intellectually curious, enthusiastic, self-motivated" and committed to its mission of restoring an economic consensus focused on family, community, and industry.

The internship will run for 10 weeks from mid-June to mid-August with a weekly salary of $750. Interns will participate fully in the organization's activities and have opportunities to learn about policy issues and career paths.

Applicants must be available to work in-person in Washington, D.C., have prior work experience or be rising college seniors or recent graduates. To apply, candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample of no more than 1,500 words to hiring@americancompass.org by February 28. They should specify their areas of interest—research and policy, coalition building or communications—and note any availability limitations.

The application timeline includes interview invitations by March 7 and job offers by March 17. The program does not provide housing.

Interns will work on projects that align with both organizational needs and individual interests. Projects may involve developing public opinion surveys for policy analysis or creating outreach plans for coalition building. Communications tasks could include drafting public communications or working on podcast research.
