Seattle median home prices rose by 14.3% in August 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Seattle rose by $109,500 while total sales increased by 22.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were 455 homes sold, with a median sale price of $875,000 - a 14.3% increase over the $765,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 372 homes sold in Seattle in August 2019.

The median sales tax in Seattle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,956, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
