Federal Way median home prices rose by 8.2% in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Federal Way rose by $32,750 while total sales decreased by 21.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 214 homes sold, with a median sale price of $432,750 - a 8.2% increase over the $400,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 273 homes sold in Federal Way in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Federal Way for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,694, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
