Women’s Basketball Signs a Strong Pair for the 2021-22 Season
Wildcat's Women basketball signs two strong athletes for the 2021-22 roster.
Ahead of the delayed 2020-21 season the Wildcats are already adding two strong additions to next years class.
"We are very excited to announce our 2020 signing class. I believe Claire and Mandy both embody our program's core values and will both bring in the competitiveness and work ethic necessary to compete for championships." – Head Coach Randi Richardson-Thornley
Claire Heitschmidt is a 5'11" small forward hailing from Vancouver, Wash.
"Claire is a competitive and driven player. She'll fit in perfectly to our system with her ability to defend multiple positions and stretch the floor from the small forward spot. With that said, what impresses me most about Claire is her competitiveness to be not just good but to be great. Really excited to have Claire join our program!" – Coach Randi Richardson-Thornley
Claire played for the Falcons at Prairie High School. During her career with the Falcons, Claire received first team all-league honors in the Greater St. Helens League. She averaged 13.63 points per game alongside 8 rebounds per game. Claire and the Falcons were the 2019 WIAA Women's 3A State Championship's after defeating Mt. Spokane 37-35.

Amanda Sisul is a 5'1" guard hailing from Oregon City, Oreg.
"Mandy is a highly motivated individual with a great work ethic. She a player who never has a bad game because she values and contributes in every facet of the game. She's a natural leader who understands what it takes to compete at a high level not only as an individual but as a team. Super excited to have Mandy and her winning mentality join our program." – Coach Randi Richardson-Thornley
Amanda played for the Falcons at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory school. With the Falcons Amanda is an OSAA Women's 5A State Champion and OSAA Women's 5A State Runner-Up. Amanda and La Salle are also 3-time Northwest Oregon Conference Champions. Amanda has earned 2-time individual All-NWOC Honorable Mentions. On the academic side, Amanda is a 3-time Scholar Athlete award winner and a member of the National Honors Society.
