Sounders FC earned a 2-1 victory over FC Dallas on Saturday evening at Lumen Field, moving up to fourth place in the Western Conference with 19 points. The match, played before an attendance of 31,785 and officiated by referee Tori Penso, saw both Jesús Ferreira and Jordan Morris score their first goals of the 2026 season.
Ferreira opened the scoring in the 15th minute with his first tally for Seattle since joining from FC Dallas. Jordan Morris added a second goal for Seattle in the 30th minute, marking his 92nd goal in all competitions for the club—the most in Sounders history. Assists were credited to Morris and Jackson Ragen on Ferreira’s goal and to Snyder Brunell and Hassani Dotson on Morris’ strike.
Nolan Norris scored for Dallas in the 40th minute off an assist from Santiago Moreno. Despite several cautions issued throughout the match—including yellow cards for Nicholas Simmonds, Patrickson Delgado, Lalas Abubakar (all Dallas), Peter Kingston (Seattle), and Norris—Seattle maintained its lead through full time.
The win extended Seattle’s unbeaten run in league play to six matches (5-0-1) and preserved a long-standing home dominance against FC Dallas; Sounders now have a current 22-match home unbeaten streak against Dallas dating back to May 25, 2011. The club also boasts a broader home unbeaten streak across all competitions that has reached twenty matches since June of last year.
Head Coach Brian Schmetzer rotated his lineup compared to last weekend’s fixture against St. Louis by starting Jackson Ragen, Jordan Morris, Jesús Ferreira, and Paul Rothrock. Next week, Sounders will travel to face Sporting Kansas City at Sporting Park.
