The Seattle University women’s golf team will begin postseason play at the West Coast Conference Women’s Golf Championship starting April 25 at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, California.
The event marks an important milestone for the Redhawks as it is their first appearance in the WCC championship. The competition will run through April 27, with rounds beginning each day at 7:30 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
Seattle U will compete against teams from Gonzaga, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Washington State and affiliate member Augusta University. Representing the Redhawks are seniors Tsara Ralamboarison and Aaryanna Morris—both playing their final postseason—alongside freshmen Zoe Rubichon and Blayne Brown and sophomore Melissa Gilloz. Jeanne Padillo will travel as a substitute.
The Redhawks enter the tournament following a successful regular season finale where they won the team title at the Bobcat Desert Classic. In that event, Rubichon finished second and Brown placed fifth with career-best performances. Ralamboarison finished twelfth while Morris took twenty-sixth place.
Although this is their debut in the WCC championship, Seattle U has previous success in conference tournaments. The team captured the Western Athletic Conference title in 2024 with both Morris and Ralamboarison finishing among the top fifteen competitors.
As they prepare for this new challenge, Seattle University’s women’s golf team aims to build on its recent successes during its first outing at the West Coast Conference championship.
