Mr. Ding-A-Ling Ice Cream was named the best ice cream catering company in Albany, according to a May 4 announcement.

The recognition points to the company’s role as a popular choice for events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, school field days, college events, employee appreciation days, and festivals throughout the Capital Region.

The company offers an ice cream catering service that provides more than 50 different prepackaged frozen treats at events. This approach is intended to help event organizers offer dessert options without the complications of traditional catering and allows them to serve large groups efficiently.

VanDerVeer said, “Renting an ice cream truck makes you feel like a kid again. That’s why companies like Amazon and GE hire us to cater ice cream for thousands of their employees multiple times a year.” The demand for mobile dessert vendors continues to grow, with Mr. Ding-A-Ling Ice Cream currently accepting bookings for events across the Capital District.

Founded in Latham in 1973, Mr. Ding-A-Ling Ice Cream has spent over five decades serving frozen treats at various community celebrations and private functions across Albany and surrounding areas. Event hosts can learn more or request booking information by visiting https://mrdingaling.com.
