Action: Open salmon fishing season.

Effective date: June 1 through September 30, 2022

Species affected: Salmon

Location: Marine Area 11

Rules: Daily limit 2, including no more than 1 hatchery Chinook. Chinook min. size 22″. All other salmon species, no min. size. Release chum and wild Chinook.

Reason for action: Salmon fishing in Marine Area 11 will begin June 1, 2022 as agreed upon with co-managers during the 2022 North of Falcon season setting process.

Additional information: Commencement Bay closed to salmon fishing east of a line bearing 215 deg. true from the Cliff House Restaurant on north shore through Sperry Ocean Dock June 1 through July 31.

Beginning July 1, 2022, this fishing season will be listed in the new 2022/2023 Washington Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet.
