Kay A. Oliver announced on May 13 the release of her latest novel, Secrets Written In Blood, which is the fifth book in the Shaws Investigation Series.

The new installment continues the story of private investigators Keri and Jade Shaw as they take on a case involving a suspicious death that authorities have ruled an accident but is believed by a family member to be murder. The plot centers around historical secrets linked to World War II and features elements of suspense and mystery.

“Every mystery we survive leaves behind more than answers. It reveals the strength we never knew we carried and the courage it takes to keep searching for the truth,” Oliver said.

According to readers, the series has received more than six literary awards. The author has been recognized with over thirty literary awards and was named Fiction Author of the Year 2025 by the International Association of Top Professionals. Her work has appeared in several publications including The Wall Street Journal, Vogue Magazine, and “Who’s Who in America.” She also brings experience from more than three decades working in Hollywood.
